As the Associate University Librarian for Learning Services at Oregon State University Libraries & Press, I provide advocacy and support for librarians working on the user experience, public services, learning spaces, pedagogy and teaching, and assessment in Oregon State’s main and branch libraries. I also sit on the university’s Assessment Council, and the Undergraduate Education Committee.
My own curiosity is sparked by questions about how we know what we know as practicing librarians, and how we develop and share that knowledge. I am also fascinated by the interplay between the affective and cognitive dimensions of learning. And my work is constantly informed by critical reflection.
